Section 1: The System
The installation process is quite simple.
- First you prepare the floor by diamond grinding the surface.
- Next you use the fast set crack repair to hide any floor cracks.
- Add masking to protect areas not being coated.
- Add the colored base coat.
- Very quickly spread the color chips liberally to the floor.
- Allow base coat to cure (30 – 60 minutes)
- Sweep up the loose chips. (save for later)
- Scrape and sand the floor to smooth out chips
- Sweep all of the dust / broken chips (discard these)
- Apply clear top coat.
- Wait 4 hours before customer can drive on the floor.
Using the system there are many advantages to using the paint store or big box store epoxy
- Their instructions are based on someone who has never installed a floor.
- They can’t show you how to do the process, only tell you.
- Their epoxy coating goes on different, less control over paint flow.
- If you only need a little bit you have to waste a full kit to finish.
- Their chips don’t cover like our chips. (less square footage per box).
- Dry and recoat times are much higher than ours – you may need a second trip.
Floors are very quick to install.
The biggest variable is how much crack repair and how much coating is on the floor that you have to remove. For the average 2 car garage the process from start to finish would be 6-8 hours. As you get your crew gets more experience you can shave time off of that.
The best part is to install a 3 or 4 car garage your installation time can only be 1 hour more.
Failure is very rare.
I have never had a floor that was a complete failure. I have had some call backs. Believe it or not the most call backs have been for bugs or debris falling onto the floor. This repair only takes a few minutes and very few supplies.

The financing works like this:
The total price of the system is $30,000. In order to get you off and going I have given you an easier way to pay. When you start you pay only $10,000. This kicks off your system implementation. You start working your system right away. As you sell more jobs and pocket you profits I wait until you have profited $12,000. Why $12,000? Because this way you have covered the money you have paid to me and the about $2000 you needed to invest in starter equipment. At this point you are even. From there forward you will pay off your balance (at 0% interest) from the gross sales of your jobs. Once you have paid off the remaining balance, that 10% goes away and you keep 100% of the profits.
As for business financing we don’t offer that. If you need business financing, you can apply at your local bank or look online for business loans.
Most painters who go through the training and launch the system start landing jobs within their first 2โ4 weeks โ sometimes sooner. Your first coating job typically produces $1,000โ$1,200 in profit, and thatโs before youโve even paid your system off.
Youโll start making money as soon as you start taking the proven steps I lay out – offering the floors to your existing cusomers, following the phone script, and running the sales process exactly as trained.
The real key isnโt when you start making money โ itโs how fast you follow the system. The painters who treat this seriously usually cover their entire investment within their first 60โ90 days.
If you are just wanting to get the essential equipment to install floors, you can spend as little as $2,000. Then with profits you can gradually add more items and upgrade your entry level equipment.
If you want to really kick this off right and go full force into installing floors your equipment purchase for what I would recommend is $8,000 to $10,000. This is just for equipment. I would recommend you buy a 6’x12′ enclosed trailer with a company marketing wrap. The trailer price I would expect to pay from $8,000 to $12,000.
The price you put into your business will help you make money faster. Having all the tools to work any job will save a lot of time in the field.
Section 3: Marketing and Sales
Getting leads is part of the system.
Contractors got into their business because they love thing that they do. All of the backend stuff is not so fun. Marketing is one of the most elusive tasks. Gaining leads is a combination of both offline, online, and referral methods. Each one requiring a different set of skills.
With our system we take all of that off your plate. Our job is to make the phone ring.
We train you.
The sales process is the same for all leads. As soon as the phone rings the sales process is started. We give you the scripts to use when answering the phones. We give you the tools to answer most of the questions the lead asks about getting his floor done.
The script is set to weed out tire kickers and identify hot leads most likely to buy. There are 2 questions that are vital to saving you a wasted trip.
Once you are in the home and selling the prospect we give you all the tools with the sales training. You have samples and conversion flyers to get the “Yes”. We give you the steps needed to greatly improve your sales presentation. Selling begin even before you even arrive.

Section 4: Territory and Competition
You will not be competing against another Certified Territory Operator.
When a new CTO comes on board they lock others who want to use this system out. We will not train another operator in the territory we set up. If there is a neighboring oporator, and you get a job in his area you would need to refer the job to him. It’s the same in reverse.

IF they are an authorized operator, you will not be able to purchase and use our system in their area. You could setup shop in any unclaimed areas.
If they are an existing company selling epoxy outside our system we would be direct competitors. Our system of offline and online systems will get us what we need for you to succeed. Looking at it another way, If you want to buy a hamburger there are dozens of places selling them. Competition just means there are customers there.
